Hotkey for internal microphone mute

Hello! Something very useful would be to have a hotkey to mute the internal microphone. This would be similar to:

-Steam + L1 magnifies the display
-Steam + R1 takes a screenshot
-Quick menu + left joystick changes display brightness, etc.

It would be great in Discord to not have to tab out of my game, pull up Discord, use the awkward touchpad interface to mute in Discord, tab back into game, then repeat to unmute.

Bonus if we got some sort of audio queue + UI pop-up, just like the screenshot hotkey.

Instead of going back into discord, I’ve just been bringing up the quick menu with the … button and sliding the mic all the way down, but I agree this would be better.

Yeah I started using that workaround too.

I would like this too. Playing 'among us' you need to mute/unmute mic all the time.
There are various commands that you can map to a key in the controller profile config 'system' tab like volume up, volume down, close game etc. It would be great if mic on and mic off and/or mic toggle be added here too. This way we could map to the controller as we please.

Having a toggle as well as a slider might be useful here too, where the toggle will mute/unmute but not actually change the mic level.
Similarly for output too TBH.

I'll add a vote to this. Just got my deck and having a way to mute by press of a button would be great.

Slight quicker method is to highlight the mic volume and press X to mute and unmute it.

I also would love this for games that don't have a good "press to talk" system
