Steam Deck
Identify Games in the Store that require you to be Always Online to function fully.
I shouldn't have to read the reviews for a game (Looking at you Hitman 3) to learn that a game requires a constant internet connection to function fully. The ability to play a game on the go seems important to the whole Steam Deck thang. Not to mention Hitman 3 is categorized under "GREAT ON DECK." There should also be a warning before purchasing that your ability to play the game could be impacted by server issues or company buyouts/mergers or that you truly don't own the game; you're just renting.

The page should list if it requires a 3rd party DRM.

So it looks like since Hitman 3 can be played offline(being online unlocks other content but isn't required to play the game) there isn't any disclosure on the store page.

That is not the same thing. A product can contain DRM and still function completely offline. A different product can contain DRM and be completely crippled and unplayable. Saying a product has DRM or not is vague and provides no useful information to the customer.
It can be played offline, but not in a complete state. Many of the core game mechanics, even as simple as your score after completing a mission is disabled offline. The entire sniping game mode is also disabled offline. If I pay for a product, I want the entire product.
PCGW is far more accurate so use that.

Ayy nice. Appreciate that. I still think that information should be easily available on steam, though.

I thought Deck Verified notices say whether a game requires a one time/recurring/constant verification, weird if they removed it.

Just checked what Hitman 3's Deck Verified thing. It says this game is fully functional on Steam Deck, with no mention of verification and the only negative-ish thing being It may not default to external bluetooth blah blah blah.

I think I figured it out,Hitman 3 should launch in its extremely limited state offline so Valve testers rushing through it probably said it was fine offline even though its not.
A game like Titanfall 2 that will absolutely not launch offline without first connecting it online has the following marker on the Deck Compatibility area:
"This games first time setup requires an active internet connection

Single player gameplay requires and active internet connection."
+1 for this. It was the first time I was away from internet with Steam Deck and damn is this forced insistence on internet connection annoying. This stupidity should get removed and until then the game store/library should make it obvious if this internet connection is needed. It goes completely against the point of Steam Deck and portability.

Yep, and for anyone who thinks we're overreacting, here's a list i stole from Reddit of what is unavailable offline.
The always online requirement in a single player (Hitman 3) game prevents players from accessing many things, including:

Progression (Playing missions in offline does not save progress, including mastery, challenges, and mission stories!)

Escalation contracts, including ALL Deluxe Escalations from the $90 Deluxe edition and the $30 7DS pack!

The entire Sniper Assassin game mode (Seriously, WTF?!)

Mission Challenges (You can't even view them in the menu!)

Location Mastery (You also can't even view these in menu!)

All director's commentary starting points from the $90 deluxe edition!

Silent Assassin indicator on the HUD, a literal HUD element is not available offline! (Yes, I do have mine toggled ON, I always do)

Post-Game score/rating (At the end of completing a mission offline, you can't even view your damn score or rating!)

Player Profile and Stats

Player inventory of unlocked items (You can still see and use (thank God) unlocked items and suits in offline during mission prep, but you cannot view your inventory page (in the profile menu) offline!)

Loading saves that were "Online" (The game makes a difference between online and offline gameplay sessions for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, meaning you cannot load any of the saves you made while "online" and any saves you made offline will force you to go offline if you choose to load them while online)

Shortcuts you unlocked online do NOT carry over into offline play, since shortcuts are saved through challenges. And since challenge progression isn't available offline, the game thinks you never unlocked the shortcuts and prevents you from unlocking shortcuts offline too!
