Great idea! If the Deck is about to run out power, a notification could be sent for that as well to remind you to save and quit before it powers off.

Seems a bit over the top to me. Also, sending system information live to Steam doesn't quite sit right with me or steam, as I can imagine. It's a bit of a privacy and security concern with little payoff. Not to mention the implementation cost.

Since it's a Linux machine, why not just connect the phone in desktop mode? Then all notifications get forwarded directly to your Phone, even when gaming.

Steam OS 3.5 added support for KDE connect. The app also shows the charge percentage for the Steam Deck.

Right now, kde connect only works when the deck is in desktop mode. I hope Valve can extend kde connect to game mode.
