Yeah it doesn’t seem to work that way on steam deck. Left pad is just for left clicking like a mouse left click.
I’ll look into that. But still seems like a lot of hassle for this small a feature.
Yeah it doesn’t work that way on steam deck. You need to touch the scroll bar. (Assuming you don’t do stuff to modify it’s layout somehow)
In my experience when you enter desktop mode you can see the fire fox browser and it can be used but you can’t see it when in the other mode (the mode which just displays your games) I had to go through some settings and add it as a non steam game for it to show on this other mode
Go to Steam->Settings->Controller->Desktop Configuration
->press X to browse configs->in the left menu select Templates->select Web Browser template
->press A to watch the template->then press X to apply the template->enjoy scrolling in desktop mode

I did change it because I prefer the scroll wheel over the vertical scroll, but it was enabled already from day one.
