Cannot remove already paired bluetooth devices

Trying to get my switch pro controller to pair with the steamdeck as i have done before. Doesn't seem to work so i wanted to pair it again by removing it from memory. But when clicking the forget button it doesn't seem to remove the device. Restarted the steamdeck but it's still there. Trying to forget the device again but not working. Can't pair with my controller anymore. Big sadness.

had same issue had to switch to desktop mode and turn on bluetooth as was showing off
in desktop mode and seems to have fixed issue in gamemode

the same problem with the Xbox controller. is listed as paired in the overview of the Steam deck and can neither connect nor delete it from the Bluetooth

Had a similar experience the other week. My 8BitDo Pro 2 controller suddenly stopped working in the middle of a game but I thought it ran out of juice. My 2nd controller, same brand/model, fully charged and quite new, also couldn't connect after repeated tries.

Restarting the Deck didn't fix it. Tried removing both controllers but didn't work, too.

Desktop Mode did the trick. BT was somehow turned off. For good measure, I removed and re-paired both.

Thank you, bought batteries thinking it was low and couldn't figure it out. Turning on in desktop and returning did it.

Couldn't Forget my Bluetooth devices either, but switching to desktop mode, opening Bluetooth configuration, and click the red x next to the device name made them disappear from game mode too. And then I was able to re-add them and they connect!

Would be nice to have it fixed so it works from game mode.
