Keyboard Freeze

Sometimes, I'd say 1-3 times an hour, my Steam Deck freezes (hold down button shutdown required) when I'm using the on-screen keyboard. Since this began the night before last, I've only used the keyboard for more than a small steam message or too, on Google Chrome, which I've been using since December with no issues, so...I don't know if it is the problem.

I have switched from Stable to Beta and after finding that it did not help, switched back, and the problem still persists.

Also happening on my end. This is a very big issue, because I like to tab into Discord to talk to people, but the keyboard freezes and the system crashes, which can result in progress loss if I haven't saved recently.

Previously, the keyboard would close and reboot after a while, but I guess it broke at some point with a client update.

Can you provide some more info about your setup and repro steps? Are you in game mode or desktop mode? Does the keyboard freeze right when opening or does it freeze after using it for a while?

For me, it happens in game mode.
I usually have Discord running alongside a game.
What happens is I'll switch to Discord to type something about the game, but while I'm typing (about two or three words in), the system freezes.

It's not THAT bad for me, but, yeah, I use google chrome all the time.

Only happens in game mode, after being used for a while, and it'll never come back unless you do a hard-reset; Steam and Quick Access buttons also stop working when this happens.
