Mic not detected in games or discord

The internal mic is detected only by steam os, no other software other than discord seems to be detecting it. Discord says it is there but is not picking up audio during the mic check. Deep Rock Galactic does not even recognize the internal mic. happens on stable and beta branches on OLED. Ocours with or without headset. Any help is apreciated.

I'm using a limited edition OLED. I just tested YouTube's search by speech feature and my browser asked me for permission to use my mic. After confirming and pressing 'allow', I was able to speak into the Deck's internal microphone and YouTube recognized the speech.

I'd check your mic's audio settings in Desktop Mode to make sure it's not ticked off. Sometimes I'll lose audio after an update because somehow my audio device was switched to something that's incapable of receiving or producing audio.

Fixed, Rhomagus was right, the "virtual source" was muted under audio on desktop mode. unmuteing fixed issue. Thank you. Even though "internal microphone" was enabled, all three must be enabled.
