Have to unlock with security code twice

Hi! Ran into a bit of a weird situation where I have been having to enter my unlock code twice. I enter it once, it doesn't say that it is bad, just flips immediately to the initial entry screen again, and I enter it again. After the second time, it enters allows access to the device. Then if I want to switch to desktop, I enter it again, but there is no need for a second input of the security code to move from gaming mode to desktop. Just the one double-do at the beginning.

Also, the screen asking 'who is playing' is a bit of a miss for me. There is not now, nor will there ever be, another person who should be touching this device. So it is a bit tedious to ignore or close the window asking who is using the device. Actually, I wouldn't mind it if Steam didn't auto start in desktop, but I am totally happy with the behavior of the device if opening Steam in desktop provides some functionality for the controller, or what have you.

My main complaint is the double entry of the security code to unlock. I'm sure it will be fixed and I thank you for reading this far.

I love my Steam Deck, and I realize it is an extremely complicated device. Thank you for it!

Okay, it was requesting a double security code entry, but when I reentered my credentials, it no longer does it.

So, all better, nothing to fix. I just needed to reup my userpass.
