Sudden Input Lag/Turbo Fire Across all games

While I was waiting for a game to load I cleaned the device's D-pad, but doing so I pressed a few buttons and since then I've been experiencing severe input lag with my Joysticks across all games- Stardew Valley to Fallout.
This only occurs in game mode, as using the Joysticks in desktop mode results in expected input response.

Did I accidentally enable something that caused this weird input lag?

I think it’s a bug in the most recent update, I’m seeing this as well and there are several threads reporting the same thing.

Update: I've come into this problem multiple times randomly after waking my Steam Deck and the only temporary fix was to open Waydroid, a 3rd party App that I happen to have a Touchscreen Action Set turned on to.

The Action Set is literally the only difference between Waydroid and any other game I have on my Steam Deck, as opening this resets and fixes the Joysticks after resetting the SD.
