Nintendo Switch Pro controller frequently disconnects

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller disconnects from the Deck all the time, which makes it impossible to use it for some games. This is a known issue for some time now and some people report that the problem was somewhat fixed after turning off the rumble (this doesn't seem to be a universal fix, however).

Still happening which is annoying. I have an Xbox controller which I'm going to try but I don't really use the Switch so I was hoping to use the Pro controller as a permanent Deck controller.

My pro controller connects vía bluetooth, but after that It cant be used for anything. It doesnt even appear in the controllers menú.

Today new firmware version 3.3.3 got installed, that resolved the issue for me

+1 to this issue. I was briefly able to navigate menus before one of the Pro controllers disconnected/turned off and the other controller changed from player 1 to player 2.

Updated to 3.4 and issue continues.

Having the same issue.

Official Switch Pro controller will disconnect for 5-10 seconds every few minutes.

Additionally, my 8bitdo Pro 2's Gyro functionality will go wonky. Sometimes stop working entirely after a few seconds or start going in one direction even when the Gyro enable button I set is no longer pressed. Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller sometimes helps, as does restarting the Steam Deck also sometimes help.

Both of these issues occurred on 3.3.3 as well as the current Stable build.

I was actually about to just make a post about this, but yeah, I noticed that this happened after the most recent update. Consider the fact I never used this particular controller much before, I'm just taking a guess something changed in the most recent update is the cause of this.
