Steam Deck on desktop mode crashed after months without issues
I have pointed out in previously about instability around SteamOS. After recent updates, the OS has worked without issues while docked, being used as a computer. Today, the same crash that used to happen a lot has occurred.

The mouse pointer slows down to a halt before the entire system freezes. In all occasions I have to manually restart by pressing the power button. The Steam deck will just do nothing to self restart itself. The screen, when disconnected from the dock, gets off (becomes dark, but not off). The system does not turn off by itself. The screen is blank, but you know it is it not totally off. Never tested how long it could take in such state, as to avoid stressing the device and then having to pay for repairs. I am forced to do a force restart every time this happens.

I feel the Steam OS has considerably improved its overall performance in dock mode and I feel positive about Valve working on stability issues.
