Steamdeck 3.5: No program on the desktop opens up for some reason

After switching to Preview and going into desktop mode, none of the programs like firefox, dolphin file manager, konsole, or discovery store open up the just load but don't show anything. Also all of my desktop stuff like the gaming mode button and emudeck as well are icons are missing. Is anyone else having this problem?

I realized u can start discover by clicking the updates icon on the right and after that u can start apps by clicking on launch when u select an installed app in discover

I switched back to stable and its still a problem

Find a way to open up konsole and dolphin file manager

Solution to this is to "navigate to /home/deck/.config and rename
"plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc" to literally anything you want." Then restart.

I can't get that far dolphin doesn't open no matter what I try

If you can open Discovery (if you happen to have any app updates), you can open Dolphin from in there. Or konsole and move/rename the file via the terminal

I tried that still doesn't open. The only thing that works is discovery but when I try to lauch anything nothing happens
