Latest beta, TDP limiter slider broken

In the latest beta, the TDP limiter slider is broken. The min and max values are 0 and 0, with no sliding icon. I've tried restarting and the issue persists. This is across various games, and even in the Steam home menu.

Having this issue too. Reverting to stable fixes it and going back to beta breaks it again, but it will say the limit is set to whatever value you set it to while on stable when you switch back to beta. Whether or not it's actually using that value I don't know.

Hey folks,

since the latest beta update I figured the TDP slider is gone and therefore I can't adjust the TDP anymore. It's either off or 10 Watts because this was the value I've set it to before in the menu.

Anyone else has this bug too?

ditto, been broken on beta candidate for over a week now; figured it was time to report seeing as recent steam update didn't fix it (I'm currently on os: 20250313.1 / steam: 1743116611 and can repro).

In-game (sometimes) I get a slider but values are maxed at 10w, not 15w.

I have the same problem, but in stable. Switching to beta and back to stable, several restarts did not help...

had my deck setup perfect for a year... and then valve decided to update my property for what is the 20th time at this point without asking because they think that running my SD at 15 watts is how I should play...

well done valve you're officially worse than windows update... one of the reasons i liked the deck was you werent that bad, but installing broken gpu drivers that break the gpu is winupdate behaviour... the update chimps strike again...

i'm snapping thks POS round a tree, go ♥♥♥♥ yourself valve, thanks for helping me stop playing computer games... genuinely... ever heard of 'if it aint broke, dont fix it'? Only 1 braincell allowed in valve... general computer incompetence strikes again, absolute muppets.
