Docked performance still sucks on 4k tv, any fixes on beta?

Recently got a 4k TV and figured to run the steam deck at native for the UI only. Games run at 720p/1080p but only seem to perform as expected when I run the UI itself at 1080p as well.

I can totally live with the games looking a bit worse but I was hoping to get the UI looking crips without having to compromise on game performance.

Is there anything one can do to make it behave as expected?

Edit: I'm stupid, the deck was trying to upscale to native resolution. If only we had a setting that disables upscaling at certain resolutions or with certain displays.
