Steam Deck stuck on Auto Boot on AC Attached/Battery Storage Mode

Has anyone experienced any issues where their SD won't work unless it's plugged in? My current thinking is that battery storage mode won't deactivate when plugged in. Also, every time I plug it in it auto boots. The auto boots was enabled once a few months ago and it states that it is disabled in the BIOS. However, the device only turns on when plugged and it starts automatically.

Anyone have any suggestions outside of RMA (my warranty is up and I'm not interested in paying to have it sent back to Steam)?

I think I may have solved the issue. The battery was not fully plugged back in after an SSD upgrade. I missed this a few times after checking the batter after initial SSD install. Rookie mistake.
