Desktop Mode: Copying from SMB shares triggers "File does not exist" errors
I have a Windows PC with file sharing set up over Samba. I can see the Windows PC in the Steam Deck's file manager, and connect to its shares to view the folders.

If I try to copy files from those folders though, it's a 50/50 shot whether the file copies or spawns a "This File Or Folder Does Not Exist" error and then fails with a partial copy. It seems like larger file transfers more than a couple of MB seem to trip it up. The files are still visible if I refresh the view, I just can't copy them.

I should specify I'm able to copy the files onto other machines on the network, so I don't believe the issue is on the Windows side.

I am getting this too. Anybody got a stable SMB connection to the steam deck?
When I try to open a file directly from dolphin (like a .jpg), I get file does not exist.

Not really a solution, but i suggest using SMB alternatives like FTP. In my experience, SMB has always been a janky experience on multiple linux distros. It's not worth the hassle to get it playing nicely.
