Cannot Move from SD to Internal: Folder already exists

Hello, as I am forced to install all games from now on to the SD card, I have to Move my games after installation. The Steam Deck does not give you the option or choice to decide where to install your game! After you put an SD card, it only installs it there without any questions.

So, after installing the game in the SD card, I usually move it to my internal storage, but now, I'm doing this and it keeps telling me that the Folder already exists in the Internal Storage, and I cannot move it.

I've uninstalled the game, and it keeps telling me the same thing.

I've done a verify of game file integrity, and it still won't move my game after I try it again.

I went to Desktop Mode and navigated to the game folder and deleted it. After that, I went back to Game Mode and moved the files, which did not show me any failed messages and successfully moved it to my internal storage.

The Steam Deck gives you the option of where to install in at least one way: set default install drive in Storage settings, before you begin a game installation. Switch it back and forth as needed.

Ah I was able to find it after looking closely. You can select the Internal Drive by clicking "A" on it, then at the bottom, it will say to press "X" to set as Default, and you will see the yellow star go from the MicroSD Card to the Internal Drive.

That being said, the 'content file locked' and 'folder already exists' errors are EXTREMELY frustrating.

Open steam in desktop mode and exit big picture, find a game in library on steam that's installed on the drive your trying to move the game to. Click the cog then manage then browse local files. This will open your install folder in dolphin. Click on common up the top. You should see the folder of the game you're trying to move there thats empty. Right click and move it to bin. You should now be able to move the game on the drive normaly. Hope this helps :)
