Friend Activity Error

For the past month or so, the friend activity feed below what games they are currently in doesn't load and just displays a empty black box. I've tried usual troubleshoot methods of restarting the deck, changing privacy settings but still nothing. Any one have an idea how to fix this?

Valve's support couldn't help and sent me to look for a solution here on the forum...
