Startup Movies not working

Like a day or two ago, my steam deck stopped playing the startup movies. It'll look it's trying to play something and then just skips it. Even when I go to preview them in the Customization tab in Settings nothing pops up besides a blank screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

Custom. Naturally, ones from steam's point shop work flawlessly.

It feels like the last update took away custom ones using the uioverride/movies folder method because it was working before I updated last weekend. Wondering if anyone else is also having issues playing custom boot up movies.

Same problem here. Tried to restart, still the same

My intros stopped working after the September 11th update, but only the point store ones. standard boot animation plays well.

Point store animations work on wake up from standby, but not when booting or switching from desktop to game mode.

Same issue here. All startup movies work when waking up from sleep but only the standard startup movie works on start up.

In desktop go to
Home/.local/share/Steam/config/uioverrides/movies

From .local search movies and the startup movie folder will appear. Copy all the movies and put them in the movie folder in uioverides. Then delete everything in the startup movie folder. Now the movies can be shuffled and selected as normal.

I use nothing but Steam Startup Movies, they stopped working after the last "stable" update.

Try the latest stable client update, my boot movie (OLED with Points Shop) finally started playing now.

I tried this and it also didn’t work I even tried the community cache where it has a startup movie folder and it still didn’t work.

All of my startup movies I had (except for the default one) are gone, even the exclusive one... they're not in the point shop either (there are only some new ones)... have they been removed?

Just purchased a bunch. Don’t play. Never do, never have. This deck is so buggy.
