honestly i dont understand it. I know people side with it saying "oh you should want it to download shader caches so your games run faster"...but that shouldn't mean every single time i start up the steamdeck, and if i have the misfortune of having 100 games on my device for it to take forever. And like the gamebreaking issue i had above, how does it help then? a good third of my storage was just shader cache downloads......And outside my few big AAA titles, most of my games on there are arcade-like pixel stylised games mostly under 500mb. Steam on PC has no need to spam me with this, why does their portable pc do so?
