cant scroll after opening game news and announcements

on ravenswatch game store page, and also other games but not all games (very inconsistent behaviour). after scrolling down to check dev updates, clicking on an announcement opens new floating window on top like expected but can not scroll down to read the post.
doesnt matter if using d-pad or any other input, you can hear feedback and sometimes even highlight search bar and bell icon at the top of screen.
if i had to guess it looks like the floating window opens but input is still registering on the page bellow, leaving the top window unresponsive
any suggestions.
