"Enable HDR" flag on external display inconsistent behaviour
I have a 512 OLED deck with an official dock and I have 2 issues with the "Enable HDR" on both Settings>Display menu and the right side Performance menu.

The first being that when the flag is disabled on one of the menus it correctly switches the display to SDR, however if I close the menu and open the other one, or reopen the same menu. the flag appears to be in the ON position even though it's still sending a SDR signal. If I then want to reenable HDR, I need to clicking the flag OFF where nothing happens and back on again, at which point the screen switches to HDR mode.

The second issue is that the HDR flag does not seem to respect if the signal being provided is actually HDR or not. If the HDR flag is off and I start up a game with HDR enabled (or a game just enables it without an option), it does not switch to HDR On, but also does it tell the game to disable HDR causing the game to have wrong washed out colors due to the mismatch.

The opposite is true also, if the HDR flag is On, but the game or even the Steams main menu is not in HDR it still sends an HDR signal to the TV, again causing wrong washed out colors. So for each game I start, I have to do an extra step of turning the HDR on if it supports it, then off after quitting the game.

I think there should be instead of only On/Off setting, also add an Auto option that turns on HDR when available but otherwise send the signal in SDR. Also if the HDR is disabled, do not notify the game that it is available. Game like Diablo 2 Remastered have HDR support but no toggle to disable it, basically being forced to play in HDR even when I might not want to.
