Touch Screen not working

For some reason the the touch screen on my steam deck isnt working. I saw on the community that steam suggests putting it in power saving mode, how that helps I'm not sure; but I tried it step by step and no success. I looked at the BIOS menu about the touch screen settings and it said "Engaged," so it in theory should be working.
