Yup, it's the only button not responding there. I'm really not inclined to think that this is a physical problem (but I know it's still possible) since during the time where it worked for an hour, it worked perfectly. Then I put the deck into sleep/lock, and when I turned it on again the X button wasn't working again.
I've had button failures in my other devices before like my DS Lite, and I don't think it's a physical problem. Because when that DS button broke, it never went back up until I got the DS fixed unlike my Deck
1. Factory Reset
2. Reimage
Tried factory reset - didn’t fix it.
Going to try re image tomorrow.
Bro...
1. Get on Beta channel
2. Update all you need to on game mode
3. Go on desktop and update all you need to
4. Restart
5. X button is magically back somehow lol
I don't see how you conclude that with the actions taken. The button wasn't working consistently before you moved to beta, and it's still not working consistently after the move to beta. If anything, that pushes the problem to be less of a software issue.
The only real way to know is to reimage the Deck. If the behavior is inconsistent with a fresh install, it's a 100% a hardware issue.
