Report a translation problem
Check if Hardware Decoding is off on your deck. If it is, turning it on will fix this issue however the game will be dark. I personally have Hardware decoding off as not seeing the steam or quick access menus is worth being able to see the game while in remote play.
This worked, thank you. But you are right, it does come out dark. That's annoying...wonder if they'll ever fix it.

No problem. Unfortunately, this has been an issue for a while now. However prior to 3.5.5 the dark screen issue was easily fixed. With all the issues being posted, especially after the 3.5.5 update, I imagine this issue is very low on the list.
I really hope they're working on a fix for one or the other (ideally both) issue(s). Happy to turn on the encoding if that's what the overlays require to work, but only if they fix the discoloration. Likewise, would love for the overlays to work without messing with encoding.
