Out of curiosity, what time zone are you stuck on in desktop mode? Mine is on PST.
I factory reset my deck 2 days ago due to other issues... This wrong time zone issue still exists btw, so if you were thinking about factory because of this, don't.
Interesting... Yours is also on PST. If others can check their timezones and chime in on here that would be great.
Issue is with Steam Client in Desktop mode. Steam settings shows time zone as UTC -08:00 Pacific Standard Time, which is wrong. I tried changing it but it keeps going back to UTC - 08:00. I haven't seen anything else affected by this bug yet.
Thanks for the confirmation. Wish Valve fixed this already, seems like it should be easy to do... But I guess on the list of priorities, it really isn't a big deal either. As long as they even know about it and keep it on their list of fixes, I'd be content... But somehow I don't think they even know.
#BOOMshakalaca lol..." just a thought might not be true"
"Resolved" since it’s correct for this location, but I travel often. I won’t touch it again, but it’s unbelievable they can’t make a self-adjusting clock with constant internet access work properly. Almost as bad as the sound crackling issues that plague this device for years now.
