HDMI not working anymore

I had an Anker Type C hub with HDMI that while fidgety with the deck, worked often, it was fidgety in the sense that the deck itself was fidgety.

My friend gave me a docking station for the deck that supports up to 8k resolutions and I decided to use it because it also has Ethernet, too. The problem now is that it works on my home TV, but no other TV or display I try it with. You can clearly see on other displays that a signal has been input, but the deck itself doesn't detect any other displays. I went back to the Anker one which I used on my work display as before, it now also does not work, too. If I use either one at home on the same TV, it does work. What is the deal?

I forgot to mention that eventually it work, after unplugging and plugging over 29 times, but I'm really not trying to wear out my port doing that.

Not sure if this is exactly the fix, I tried a different HDMI cable, and it worked, but I also switched to the beta build on steam deck...

Switch back to SD Stable and see if it still works
This way you will know if it's the cable or your dock
