Brightness sometimes gets set to max. after restart

Like the title says, my Steam Deck's brightness sometimes gets reset to the maximum upon being restarted.

It doesn't happen all the time, it doesn't seem to happen because of a certain game or a certain setting (I've tried restarting my Steam Deck multiple times without doing anything else, this bug sometimes occurs, sometimes not), so the cause is basically unknown to me and I don't know what steps I could provide in order to reproduce it.

The brightness goes back to the value before the restart if I attempt to change it.
