System halted due amd gpu driver fall

Different games halted randomly. For example this is log output. Game halted after 10-15 seconds. Games are different, SOMA - linux native binary, Surviving Mars - linux native binary.

i'm having halting issues in monster hunter as well. When the monster roars, the game freezes but i am able to access the rest of the system

There is a VERY high chance if you're seeing this, that your Steam Deck is faulty.

Please test a bunch more random 3D games and see if you experience the same crash

Bonus points (i.e. 100% certain it's hardware) if you see a module erroring during boot (do a journalctl in konsole), saying something like i2cxx failed to load.

If you do, send the device back under warranty for a replacement. This isn't normal and unlike typical PCs, since we all share the same hardware it's highly unlikely to be a bug only you are experiencing.

There is another thread related to this crash that I posted in. There's no solution (believe me I tried it all....).
