Report a translation problem
In Game Mode:
Navigate to the Chrome app > Settings Cog > Properties > Shortcut > Resolution > Native
In order to apply the correct display's resolution, you'll need to relaunch the app while the necessary display is assigned as primary.
EDIT:
While Steam is in Small or Large mode, the resolution option is not exposed, so obviously Chrome just launches in the desktop resolution (1080p), and I can maximize the window. If you switch to Big Picture mode, then you will see the resolution option again. Here I can set it to 1080p and it does obey.
However in Game mode, while Steam's own Display setting is set to 1080p, no matter what the Chrome app resolution setting is, Google Chrome always launches in 720p for me.
Sure, as a workaround one could scale the display size in Chrome, but that's not quite a fix.
