Bluetooth headphones won't reconnect

I have tried using two different bluetooth headphones with my Steam Deck. They work the first time when I go to pair it, but if I disconnect for any reason (Such as turn the headphones off or put the Deck to sleep) then it will not reconnect. Under the bluetooth page, it shows like it is connected, however, I cannot get audio from the headphones, and they do not show up in the audio output drop down menu either.

The only way for me to get them to actually work again is to go back to the bluetooth settings and have it forget the devices then pair the headphones again. This happens every time and with both completely different headphones.

For me, there are more ways to re-connect the headphones (e.g. turning the headphones off and on) so it sounds like our issues are slightly different.

That is similar but mine do not reconnect through either of these methods.

The headphones I used were:
1: iJoy Bluetooth Headphones. Model number: FGE-PRE-SRG
2: Granvela Bluetooth Headphones. I can't find the model number for this set

I have the same issue when I suspend a game and come back to it.
