Report a translation problem
it's a well-known issue that some games don't support controller hotplugging, and that suspending the Deck disconnects and reconnects controllers (including the builtin one) so this is probably a consequence of Valve also not supporting hotplugging in that screen (not even to exit the screen)
hopefully they can fix all of it at once
in the meantime, try attaching a keyboard and pressing esc, or a mouse and clicking out of that screen, or using the trackpads if (as I have seen on remote play on a linux pc with a ps4 controller) trackpads are used as a touchpad mouse when not correctly seen as a controller
