Switching app windows doesn't work [Stable OS]

When running non-Steam game apps the option to switch windows doesn't work.

Same problem here - both on stable and beta branches. Tried: Nonary Games launcher, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (which is unplayable now without switching working) and EmulationStation.

+1 same issue with non-steam apps. I can see the different windows but tapping on them or pressing the a button doesn't switch focus. I am stuck in one window.

I noticed that it only works if developer mode is turned on, so try that as a temporary workaround.

Turn on developer mode in settings and it seems to resolve it.

steam's source code must be a nightmare... they never stop surprising me with those nonsense bug behaviours... you gotta admit it's sort of scary that this does anything to fix it

Its probably a Xorg bug or something. Xorg is that scary.
