Report a translation problem
The fact of the matter is that every Steam Deck sounds more like a laptop than a Switch. It's the most disappointing/annoying issue with the device.
I don't mind my unit if I crank the speakers a bit or if I play with my open back headphones at just modest volume. I would not use the unit next to a resting/sleeping person though. The noise/whine is just a bit too much for that.

All you need is common electrical tape, and it doesn't harm thermals in any way!
Valve themselves started shipping new units with a similar fix (engineered foam).
