Multiple Xbox Controllers Not Working In Game

The deck allows me to connect 4 controllers and they all work on the steam menu but as soon as we get in game they go weird. Some don't function at all, the steam decks built in controller takes priority, we lose connections on like controllers 1 and 3 but not 2 and 4. Just very weird stuff. 1 controller - fine, 2 controllers - fine. 4 controllers? nope. Any ideas - mainly playing halo mcc and arcade games (overcooked, moving out, etc)

We got the same problem. The controller of the fourth person does not worked. The problem is not the controller itself. It's random which controller does not work.

Same thing with me - currently switched away from Xbox to 8bitdo controllers but we only have 2 at the moment - once we have 4 I’ll update the chat - may only be an Xbox controller issue but I have no clue

Same issue here but with diferent controllers, couple xbox controllers, couple PlayStation 4 controllers and also changon one of them for a 8bitdo controller, nothing works like before.
I notice this behaviour arround 2 releases back.

All remote controllers works fine in the menu but not in the game, and also, seams like if the steam controller has priority ove all others controller and seems like always is a default remote controller.

That is exactly our problem. In the menu, everything is fine, but then in the game, a random controller stops working. Hope they'll fix the Problem soon, we love playing with our Kids, but that's not possible like that.

Yes, is what is happening to me too, we want to play with kids our and it's not possible now

Anyone has a solution for that please?
