Desktop mode - Dolphin file manager won't open

Dolphin file browser just started as of 10am this morning refusing to open any desktop shortcuts, and any opening requested through a secondary program. Example: Yuzu<Open Yuzu file. It seems like it is getting worse too as the day progresses where things I were able to access this morning like .config files and etc just won't open. I see people have had issues with this in the past but it sounds like it was patched with a steam os update back in March. I have researched every way to try and repair this and nothing has worked. What do you all think?
