I had to end up doing a factory reset just to remove mine lol
This is the first non-discover store app I've tried to install hence why it's throwing up the password request.

I just remembered when I first got the Deck I was excited to try out emulation and installed emudeck and emulationstation . Never got them working but must have set a password … ffffffffffkkkkkkkk
So my question now is do I have to factory reset my deck and start again?

I'm not sure it's easier than reimaging, but if you ave data you don't want to lose that's the better route.
Also don't use emudeck, that thing is a sledgehammer. I would suggest retrodeck.
Yes. If you try and change the password from there or even create a new user, then it asks for the main password.
