Discover won't download updates, stuck at 0%
My Discover doesn't download updates anymore and only works when running it through the console using sudo.
Lutris also can't install anything because it seemingly doesn't have permission and just gets stuck.

Any solutions?

I managed to solve it by turning off the WiFi, shutting down, turning the Deck back on and turning WiFi back on.
Let me know if it works for you.

wtf that fixed it. Why??? Normally have it connected to a dock with wired connection where everything else works internet-wise....it doesn't make any sense why your fix would do anything 😂 oh well, i'll try not to think about it to hard

This has been happening to me for a couple of weeks and I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. @ モノクマ's solution resolved my problem as well.

We should all submit a bug report to steam.

I'm currently attempting to install Chrome on my Steam Deck, I am having a rather weird experience where it reaches 100% after a snail pace wait, and then, it restarts the instillation process. I assume the speed of my download might be resolved with this tactic, but the issue with it constantly restarting the entire process.

This is a known bug in Discover store when you install your first application.
Just wait, it will eventually go though and finish.

I’m in the same boat. WiFi trick did not work. Trying to install using flatpak commands in flathub in Konsole not working either. Literally can’t install anything besides what’s on the store. If anyone has any other brilliant ideas let me know. So frustrating.

I am also having this issue tonight. The shutting off wifi, restarting, etc. didn't work for me either.
