Emulation beast!!
I wanted to give an update after having my steam deck for a week. This thing is an emulation beast!! I installed emudeck and have tried Saturn, GameCube, and PS2 games and they all run great!! There is a learning curve to making sure you have the right files but it’s not super difficult. And I have only scraped the surface. There’s so many tweaks and mods you can make. I’m really excited about what the future holds for this device and future iterations.

I was able to create isos from my entire PS2 library. This amazing little device gave me both my PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable collections back.

Thank you so much, Gabe.

SNES doesn't require any BIOS files. The only emulators that use them in RA are the PS consoles and Dreamcast, but they aren't required.

I couldn't get EmuDeck to work but I just got like 8 hours of battery life out of a Pokemon game. The deck is incredible man. I want to try to run Red Read Redemption but like I said I'm having a hard time with getting the emulators to run and the controls to work

If the deck had 30-40% more CPU power, it would comfortably run emulators for newer systems at full speed, not just the oldest systems. The next version of the steam deck will probably bring that amount of performance increase, if not more.

I've been playing Switch, PS3 and xbox360 games at full speed, thankfully there's little to no reason to try the PS4 emulator since most of those games are on PC anyway.

Look up emudeck. It tells you where all bios need to go .
