What screwdriver do I need exactly to open the back?
I’m upgrading the SSD. The Stanley precision kit I have doesn’t work - looks like I need a six sided driver - and I don’t want to force strip the screws on the back open because I hear they are quite weak. What precision kit do I need exactly to get it open and can I pick it up from Home Depot or Lowe’s? Also should I buy extra screws just in case and what may they be? Thanks.

#0 Phillips if you have the LCD model.
Torx 6 for the OLED model.

They can be snug, so just be careful. The last screws you remove tend to be tighter than the first ones. It can help to squeeze the shell together while you remove the screw to lessen the pressure.

Yeah Torx 6 for the OLED. Thank you. I just swapped it. 2TB working great. The ribbon cable running over the heat shield was annoying and apparently you can't pull it off for some reason?? So I just pulled it out of the port on the left. Also couldn't disconnect the battery for the longest time. I would pull on the tab away from it and it would pull the coat off the wires more than it would unplug it. Eventually managed to wiggle it out side to side very gently using my nails and some tweezers.
