Controls not working on start

I'm having an issue lately where sometimes when I turn on my deck the only controls that work are the steam button and the ... Button until I go into desktop mode and reset

Anyone else? Saw someone had recently necro'd an old reddit post just a day or so ago with this same issue so I'm hoping it's a software thing

Same. Ever since the last update the buttons occasionally aren't working in gaming mode after turning the Deck on. I've found that going to Desktop Mode by pressing the Steam button and using the touchscreen to switch modes makes them work again and then you go back to Gaming Mode. It usually fixes it other than rebooting. It is a bit annoying though.

I hope we hear something from them and/or this gets fixed soon.

Any news on this yet? I updated to 3.6.20 earlier and AC Brotherhood can't detect the controller anymore. Tried disabling and enabling Steam Input on desktop but it's not working so now I'm on a highly unoptimal jury rigged layout. In-game seems to work fine but navigating menus are a ♥♥♥♥♥.
