Steam Deck

Steam Deck

SD OLED Replacement Charger?
Hoping for some guidance. I just got my first steam deck recently, the 1TB OLED and my dog chewed up my charging cable. I've tried a few different 45w chargers that were recommended, but all give me an orange/slow charging light.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a charger (on Amazon if possible for delivery speed) that will give me the white light and faster charging? Hoping for something I can have delivered quickly.

I've combed through so many threads and I feel like a lot of what I've read is misleading as I think some chargers will give a white light on older models, but not the OLED? I also just may be missing it, but any help would be very much appreciated.

I think what you need to look for is 45 w with 3 amp delivery, don't just look for the 45w :)

Pretty sure iFixit do some...

The LCD model only has a white LED, whereas the OLED model has an RGB LED. This Reddit thread appears to list what the different colors mean for the OLED model.[redd.it]
I use a combo as it’s easier for travel, and prefer it over the oem. I’ve used this combo for years with both my LCD and Oled SD and have had zero issues.

I keep my OEM charger one part of my house and I use an Anker in another part of my house. I've been using this Anker for 2 years including with my OLED:
