now, about the error, start with your search engine to find stuff about errors in linux or anything (i recommend duckduckgo, but other non-google options may also be better). if you read a bit about the forums and comments, it seems that particular error can be ignored safely, but if you are still not sure if everything is ok with your live usb, first try to make it again.

maybe a problem happened when you were making the liveusb, so maybe you just need to make it again.
I am not sure if will help but it might help to get your Steam deck in a usable state and might even help after you have installed it to reinstall the original steam OS

My thinking is if you can install it once you have, there is an option to factory reset the steamdeck, after which you could then try and reinstall the factory image.
things like that can often work.
