Can we get official Discord functionality?

Second, it's not typical for Valve to "go with" a 3rd party rather than creating something of their own. They don't want people to say "I don't like that app, I like this one better. I want this one integrated". Valve rarely put themselves in the middle of picking vendors other than themselves.

With the amount of Discord scamming going on that hijack Steam accounts, I doubt Valve will even touch the subject.

Discord is built into the Xbox consoles now and I think the PlayStation as well. Everyone uses it, it’s kinda essential for many of us.

Yes, you can use Discord without a problem, since Discord has a version dedicated to Linux, you just have to download it in the desktop mode store called discover
