etched vs glossy

i really can´t make up my mind about it, i wish for the glossy one, but i want the most of storage (1tb) ...

I’m just about to order one. I’ve had the same dilemma lol. I’ve sat all week reading and on YouTube. Getting as much info as I can. As far as I can tell there is no difference in screen fidelity. But one thing I did find out is. If you use a etched screen protector on a etched screen it will negate some of Oled goodness. If you play mostly inside get the Glossy. If you travel with your Deck get the etched that seems to be what most are saying. So I’m getting the etched. I was going to go Glossy. but what the hell treat myself.

For a handheld you should always go for etched, becuause it offers far superior reflection behavior when on the go. It's a lot better to use outside or at bright lighting conditions, the little bit of clarity you might lose compared to the glossy one, is absolutely worth it for huge clarity you gain when sitting outside. The regular steam deck is a mirror. Etched 100%.
