Volume Down Stopped Working??
My Steam Deck's volume down button has stopped working, and I can't figure out why. I usually use my Deck docked to my TV as I use it to stream my PC, But when I tried to use it handheld again the button suddenly stopped working.

Now, when I boot up the Deck, it goes into the EFI boot menu. I opened up the back and checked, but there's nothing stuck between the button and the sensor.

I’ve seen people say to update the system as this looked like to be a software issue a little while ago but it’s up to date and I even tried to factory reset it but nothing has changed.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening or how I can fix it?

When you have the Deck running, do you see the Volume GUI pop up when you press either button?
I see the pop up when I press volume up but I don’t get anything when pressing volume down. So it’s not like it’s being held down the whole time as the volume will go up and stay there

I would say if the GUI isn't popping up, then there is something wrong with that switch. Might be worth getting some electrical cleaner and spraying it.
I'll order some electrical cleaner and try it out. I'll update you and this thread with an update once I have tried it :)
So I bought some electrical cleaner and have taken out the Audio board from the deck and spayed it. I have since put it back into my Steam deck and the issue seems to still exist. I believe this issue must be hardware based but when looking online for a audio board replacement I cant find anything for my model as I have the LCD deck. Am I really stuck with this broken audio now?
