Performance got really slow all together

Deck was running great for months, I was really enjoying it, then last month I was playing vampire survivors, and it got to a point where there were a ton of enemies on screen, the game started to lag badly. I thought “ok maybe that was too much going on at once for the deck to process” so I ended the game and exited the app.

We’ll ever since, everything runs very slow, even main menu, games library, you name it. If I go to scroll over from one title to the other there is a massive delay.

I check for updates regularly and download them and apply them when told. I deleted every game off the hard drive, I even did a factory reset once none of the previous things worked. It’s still extremely slow and laggy, games I used to play are almost unplayable now.

Any advice for me?

As you can tell by how I describe things I’m not the most technically savvy guy when it comes to GPU/Processor/FPS lingo, so talk to me like how Oscar explained a surplus to Michael in The Office.
