Gyroscopic Controls
With games that have gyroscopic controls enabled by default, I often find myself switching them off rather than on. I'm curious on what everyone else thinks about them and the games that work better with them.

there are a lot of muscles in your wrists and arms. A lot more than in a single thumb. Gyro controls may not be for everyone, but they are objectively more accurate than the stick on its own. Once you get past the learning curve, gyro controls feel completely natural. FPS games are great for it obviously, but so are 3rd person games with shooting elements, like botw. Mouse and keyboard games benefit massively from the gyro as well. It is so much easier to click and drag with the gyro than with the stick or trackpad. I've been using gyro aiming since I got my first steam controller in 2016 and I hate trying to aim at things without one.

Thanks, I’ll make sure to try it.

make sure you use gyro to mouse (beta)

Using the gyro to emulate analog stick control is kinda messy.

Look up Nerrel's videos about gyro controls, SolarLight's video about gyro in Team Fortress 2 is very good too, I think it's probably also more concise than Nerrel's videos.
