Should I factory reset my steam deck

It's March 22 and I got out my steam deck to play some beamng drive and farming simulator 22.It has been over 1 months since I've used it.i tried changing the settings first in beamng but it froze and I had to close out of it.Then I tried farming simulator 22 but when I changed the settings to custom high with frame gen enabled and after awhile I went to change it back to medium settings but every time I did that it would kick me out of the game.

Help me pls☠️

Make sure your Deck is up to date first in the settings. Then try reinstalling those games. If these issues continue, then go ahead and try factory resetting

Does the game play ok on your deck without beaming to your pc? We first need to sort if it's a beaming or a game or a deck glitch.

I have the same problem with Farming Simulator 22, whenever I try to change settings, I get crash. Had the same problem on PC but now it's only on Steam Deck, but I don't know why yet.

That could be part of the problem. Try moving out of Ohio and see if the issue still persists

Honestly I don't know at this point.
I have a PS5 so I can play Fortnite and war thunder if I want to download it. My steam decks spec's are:512gb SSD and 1tb micro SD card LCD version steam deck

try using compability proton experimental, if it was already in experimental, try uncheck it let the game running using default. if crashing only appears every setting graphic, try set on graphic on home menu before, every change graphic setting, the game sometime get freeze a sec and frame drop, but if it still happen even so, maybe the proton cant handle a change
