Desktop Mode black screen issue

A month or so ago, I was messing around with Maximum Game Resolution to see if it would help with some Minecraft Java mod I was trying to play. Didn't work, so I put everything back to default and uninstalled the mod. After playing a few games, tried going to Desktop and....nothing. Just a black screen with haptic feedback on the track pads.
I've tried everything I could. Uninstalled every Decky plugin I had, waiting on Game Mode for 20 minutes before switching, etc. Nothing worked. I don't use an external monitor, so thats a bust too. The only Bluetooth keyboard I have won't work (the function keys to be specific), switching from Beta to Preview back to Stable updates didn't work, yadda yadda. Even submitted a system report.
Feels like just factory resetting the thing is the only solution at this point.

i had something similar happen to me, what i did was just hard restart it and it fixed itself. tho in my case it was the gaming mode that was blackscreened, couldnt even get to desktop mode. before factory resetting try just a hard manual restart.

Feel like I've already done that tho. I've used the Steam button and hit restart from the Power menu, and I've even just held down the power button and chose the Restart button that way. Unless I'm somehow missing another option, I've reset my Deck already.
